Guided Texas Hog Hunting
The wild hog hunts at Double G are unsurpassed in entertainment and excitement. The East Texas pine tree thickets along with our ranch's creek bottoms, flooded timber, and flooded grass-lands are perfect for producing trophy wild hogs. In addition, there is a natural swamp on our property that provides wild hogs with protection and ideal breeding conditions for optimal numbers.
Just like our upland hunts, one of our experienced guides is included with every hog hunt where you can enjoy either an adrenaline-pumping spot and stalk type hunt or a hunt out of one of our comfortable blinds. Another great advantage to our hog hunts is that because trophy hogs (wild hog weighing more than 200 lbs.) are so common in numbers, WE DO NOT CHARGE A TROPHY FEE like most of the others! So come join us for an unforgettable day in the field.
Hog hunting season lasts year round. There is no closed season.
Hog Hunting Rates
* $200 per day with a 2 hog limit per person
* Note: 50% deposit required to book a hunt
* Hog cleaning areas are available
Equipment Checklist
• Rifle: Preferred caliber is .270 Winchester (anything from .223 to .300 will work)
• Binoculars: For spotting your trophy
• Coolers: For transporting game meat back home
• License: Valid Texas hunting license
