German Shorthaired Pointers are the most versatile hunting dogs on the market today. We use them at least 6 months out of the year to guide all of our upland hunts. We raise several litters per year to sell to our clients and to replace some of the guide dogs that we sell.

Trait selection starts with intelligence and natural ability. We then look at other qualities such as drive, trainability, and versatility. All of these factors are important because we use these dogs to make a living and absolutely have to raise dogs that PERFORM! We know that the average house hold will use their dogs about 2 months out of the year to hunt and the other 10 months the dog will be around the house and the family. German Shorthaired Pointers fit this mold as well as any breed on the planet.

Our training program focuses equally on the bird work and obedience so that after the dogs finish the training program and go home, they will adapt to everything around the house and their owners with ease. Most pointing dogs possess the natural ability to hunt but the manners needed to manage a dog around the house are purely man made. This is where we gladly step in.
